Hotel Alt Annaberg - Annaberg-Buchholz

We had a wonderful stay in a charming small hotel located in a mountain town with great starting points for mountain hiking and steam train excursions. the room was clean and comfortable with complimentary water, coffee, and fruit. the bathroom was renovated and fully equipped. Delicious breakfast served on your table with boiled eggs inside a knitted cloth. Our only concern was the light entering the room very early in the morning.

Great location close to the historic center of town. Cosy room with comfortable beds, free coffee, tea, and fruits available. The bathroom was clean and fully renovated. Breakfast was nice and served on your table. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.

Not obvious to find.

Our romantic escape was great! The room was beautifully decorated and had lovely touches like complimentary water and fruit. The breakfast was served on our table and it was really nice. The location was perfect, very picturesque and close to the local steam-trains. We also enjoyed the friendly staff, who were always willing to help.

The rooms have poor soundproofing, as we could hear the construction work outside. The mattress was a bit too soft for our taste, as it left us with some back pain in the morning.

During my Christmas stay, I enjoyed the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. I particularly liked the complimentary coffee and tea that were available in the room, as well as the little extras that were offered for purchase. the location of the hotel was also great, with easy access to the nearby mountains for those who enjoy skiing and hiking. I also appreciated the friendly staff who were always eager to assist.

the location of the hotel on steep hills may be problematic for some guests, so it is recommended to plan transportation accordingly.
